Come visit us Sunday, May 26 for our annual plant sale!
With mixed emotions, Jeff and I have decided this year to eliminate retail hours at Stonebridge Farm Nursery. In 2006, we hosted our first wedding in the gardens of Stonebridge Farm Nursery. It was a beautiful event! Please pardon the pun, but gardens and weddings are the perfect marriage! It gives us great pleasure to share our gardens for this most joyous day in the lives of so many couples! So it is, that this wonderful opportunity has grown to be the next chapter in our lives.
We will continue to grow in our greenhouses for our own use, in addition to custom growing. Whether you need one flat or ten, we can custom grow whatever does well in your garden (12 weeks lead time). We will also continue to deliver mulch and topsoil; call for pricing. The most difficult part of this decision was the thought of not seeing all of you who have visited the nursery every year for so many years. Like daffodils, we look forward to seeing each of you every spring and you will be missed!. For that reason we will open on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for what we hope will be an annual “Just Couldn’t Get It All Planted” sale. Follow us on Facebook where closer to sale day, I will post what will be available for sale. Also on that same day we will host a question and answer tour of the gardens at noon followed by a box lunch from the Keystone Creamery. Cost is $5 for the tour and $15 for the tour and box lunch. Please email Jan at SBFNursery@hotmail.com to reserve your space by May 17.
Thank you all for so many wonderful memories!
Jan & Jeff Lopes
